These terms and conditions apply to competitions and promotional giveaways conducted by the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group, unless specific terms and conditions are provided for a particular competition.
By entering an Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions, together with any additional rules or requirements applicable to the specific competition.
Competition Period
The opening and closing dates of each competition will be communicated through the relevant promotional material, participating stores, the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group website, social media platforms or other advertising channels.
Entries received after the advertised closing date will not be considered unless the competition period has officially been extended by the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group.
How to Enter
Entry requirements may differ between competitions. Participants must follow the entry instructions provided in the promotional material for the applicable competition.
Where a competition requires a qualifying purchase, the minimum purchase amount, participating products and participating stores will be specified as part of the competition promotion.

Participation may be limited to selected stores, regions or platforms. Participants are responsible for confirming that their entry qualifies for the applicable competition.
Prize Draws & Winners
Winners will be selected according to the draw process or judging criteria specified for the applicable competition.
Where winners are selected through a random draw, eligible entries received during the applicable competition period will be included in the draw.
All draws and competition results may be subject to verification, validation and auditing before a winner is officially confirmed.
The Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group will make reasonable attempts to contact winners using the contact information provided with their competition entry.
Prize Collection & Verification
Winners may be required to provide valid identification, proof of purchase, proof of entry or other documentation required by the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group before a prize can be awarded.
Prizes must be claimed or collected within the period communicated to the winner. A prize that is not claimed within the required period may be forfeited at the discretion of the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for other goods, services or cash unless a cash alternative or other option is specifically included in the terms of the applicable competition.
Prizes
Prize descriptions, values, specifications, models, colours and other details will be provided as accurately as reasonably possible in the applicable promotional material.
Images used to advertise prizes may be for illustrative purposes. Actual products, specifications, colours, packaging or models may differ according to availability.
Where a prize requires installation, delivery, registration, activation or additional services, these costs are not automatically included unless specifically stated in the applicable competition terms.
Publicity & Marketing
Subject to applicable law and the winner’s consent where required, the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group may request permission to publish a winner’s name, photograph or other approved content on its website, social media platforms, in-store advertising and other marketing channels.
Any participation in promotional photography, video recordings, interviews or marketing activities will be handled in accordance with applicable South African privacy and consumer protection legislation.
Personal Information
Personal information collected as part of a competition will be processed for purposes related to administering the competition, validating entries, contacting participants, confirming winners and awarding prizes.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), and the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group’s applicable privacy policies.
General Conditions
The Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated through unauthorised means or do not comply with the applicable competition rules.
The Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend, suspend, extend or cancel a competition. Any material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
The Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incorrectly submitted or not received due to technical problems, network failures, incorrect participant information or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
The decisions of the Arrie Nel Pharmacy Group and any appointed judges or auditors regarding competition administration, eligibility and the selection of winners will be final, subject to applicable South African law.
Participation in any competition is subject to applicable South African legislation and regulations.
